Plans and what they include
What's included in each plan?
Essentials ($299 per month, or $2,990 per year) covers Canadian compliance monitoring: Health Canada MDALL licences, devices and identifiers, recall records, watchlists, and alerts by push and email — for up to 5 users.
Professional ($899 per month, or $8,990 per year) adds US market intelligence on top of Essentials: FDA 510(k), De Novo and PMA authorizations, FDA ↔ Canada company matching with scored evidence, device-level cross-border candidates, and standards tracking with change timelines — for up to 25 users.
Enterprise ($2,499 per month, or $24,990 per year) adds the full enforcement and evidence record: FDA QMSR inspection citations and warning letters, the AI/SaMD evidence benchmark, the evidence review queue, and administrative controls over data sources and organization access — with unlimited users.
The EU MDR add-on ($199 per month, or $1,990 per year) can be added to any plan or bought on its own: EUDAMED manufacturers, devices and certificates, EU ↔ US/Canada cross-border matching, and MDR compliance checklist and roadmap tracking.
The Products page lists every plan with its full feature list, audience and limits.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no card is required to start. When the trial ends, you choose a plan to keep access; anything you built during the trial — watchlists, saved matches, review decisions — stays with the workspace.
Do all plans include both FDA and Health Canada data?
Essentials is Canada-focused: Health Canada licences, devices and recalls. US FDA authorization data (510(k), De Novo, PMA), cross-border matching and standards tracking are part of Professional and above. UK MHRA data is included in every plan. EU MDR records come with the EU MDR add-on.
What does "Matched" vs "Possible match" vs "No apparent match" mean?
These are match labels, not licence verdicts. "Matched" means the link between records was confirmed by a reviewer; "Possible match" is an automated candidate awaiting review; "No apparent match" means no candidate was found in this database.
"No apparent match" is a statement about the records we hold — it never means a device is unlicensed or off the market. Every match label links back to the underlying regulator record so you can check the source yourself.
Changing your plan
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes, any time, from the Billing page in your workspace. When you change plans in the middle of a billing period, the change is prorated: you pay only the difference for the remaining days of the current period when you upgrade, or receive credit toward the next period when you downgrade.
The new plan's limits and features take effect immediately — including user limits, so an upgrade can be needed before you can add more users.
Can I add the EU MDR add-on later?
Yes. The EU MDR add-on can be added to any plan — or removed — at any time from the subscribe page, with the same proration as a plan change. It can also be bought on its own without a base plan.
What happens when I cancel?
You keep full access to the end of the period you have already paid for, then the workspace drops to the free sign-in features. Your watchlists, match decisions and history stay in place; if you resubscribe later, they are still there.
What happens if a payment fails?
Access continues while the payment provider retries the charge, and we email the billing contact about the failed attempt. If the retries eventually fail, the subscription ends and the workspace returns to free features — nothing is deleted.
What happens at the end of a trial without a card on file?
The trial simply ends and the workspace returns to free features — there is no automatic charge, because no card was ever taken. Everything you set up during the trial is preserved for when you subscribe.
Billing and taxes
Who sells the subscription?
Subscriptions are sold by Rubicon Microproducts Inc. through Stripe, our payment provider. Your card statement shows the charge from Stripe on behalf of Rubicon Microproducts Inc.
Are taxes included in the price?
Listed prices are in USD and exclude tax. Stripe calculates and collects any applicable sales tax — for example Canadian GST/HST or US state sales tax — at checkout based on your billing address, and the final amount is shown before you confirm payment.
Can I get invoices and receipts?
Yes. Every charge produces an invoice available from the Billing page, and a copy is emailed to the billing contact. Invoices carry your company name and billing address as entered at checkout.
What counts as a user, and what if I need more seats?
A user is anyone signed in to your workspace. Essentials includes up to 5 users, Professional up to 25, and Enterprise unlimited. If you hit your limit, either remove users or upgrade — the prorated upgrade takes effect immediately.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Every plan and the EU MDR add-on are available monthly or annually; the annual price is ten months' worth — two months free. You can switch between monthly and annual billing from the Billing page.
Getting started and support
How do I subscribe?
Pick a plan on the Products page and choose monthly or annual billing. Checkout is handled by Stripe in a secure payment view, and the subscription activates for your workspace immediately after payment — including during a trial, if you are converting one.
Can I try the product before subscribing?
Yes. There is a public demo at /demo, every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and the weekly email and /this-week page give you a feel for the data at no cost.
Who do I contact about billing questions?
